Intro

Dear EO/Privatization Group Members:

In response to Dan Bell's request for a brief introduction, my name is David
Binns, Associate Director of the Foundation for Enterprise Development, an
organization focused on promoting the use of employee ownership. I
previously served as Executive Director of The ESOP Association, a trade
association of ESOP companies and professionals in the field. I've been
working in the employee ownership field for about 15 years.

I've worked on EO assignments related to privatization in Argentina, Egypt,
Hungary, Russia, Venezuela and Zimbabwe and have worked on non-privatization
EO projects in several other countries.

I look forward to engagining in a dialogue with all of you about how best to
implement employee ownership into privatization initiatives.
