EOnation: Labor unions and ownership

When we were talking about the "national strategies for ownership" paper last 
week, someone mentioned that Histadrut in Israel might have been involved in 
sponsoring enterprises or even owning them outright.  If so, I'd like to 
mention it in our paper.  Does anybody know anything about it?  Thanks in 
advance for any details.
