EFES PROGRAMME 2000/2001
  
The executive office of EFES (EUROPEAN FEDERATION OF EMPLOYED SHAREHOLDERS, FOR EMPLOYEE OWNERSHIP AND PARTICIPATION) had a good meeting in London, 20-21 June and we discussed a lot of decisions.
We'll have two main action programmes for year 2000/2001:
1. Under management of EFES secretariat, a programme with our first priority: "organizing the exchanges of information about employee ownership and participation" (website, international database, newsletter, etc). Preparatory experts meetings in November/December 2000 (maybe in Paris), a big meeting at spring 2001 (maybe in The Netherlands), follow-up expert meetings in autumn 2001 (+ statutory internal meetings of EFES). 
2. Under management of the Hungarian organization (with EFES partnership), a programme with our second priority: the European networking and the CEEC's.
Would you like to take part or to co-operate, please let us know.
On the other hand, we have the great pleasure to inform you that the Belgian Government gave to EFES his recognition as an international association, by a King's Arrest of 1.2.2000. So the legal organization of EFES is now complete, with good statutes, clarity on procedures, elected board of directors, executive office, president and secretary general. All what we need to make of EFES the large and open federation we want, with employee owners, companies, trade unions, experts, etc, all those people who are looking to promote employee ownership and participation in Europe.

PROGRAMME DE LA FEAS POUR 2000/2001
  
Le bureau de la FEAS (FEDERATION EUROPEENNE DES ACTIONNAIRES SALARIES, POUR L'ACTIONNARIAT SALARIE ET LA PARTICIPATION) s'est réuni à Londres les 20-21 juin et il a pris un ensemble de décisions.
La FEAS développera deux programmes d'actions en 2000/2001:
1. Un programme axé autour de notre première priorité: "organiser les échanges d'informations sur l'actionnariat salarié et la participation" (site internet, base de données internationale, newsletter, etc). Séminaires préparatoires d'experts en novembre/décembre 2000 (probablement à Paris), grande conférence au printemps 2001 (peut-être aux Pays-Bas), réunions d'experts et de suivi à l'automne 2001 (les réunions statutaires de la FEAS viendront s'organiser autour de ces événements). Ce programme sera géré par le secrétariat de la FEAS.
2. Un programme axé autour de la deuxième priorité: le travail en réseau européen et avec les PECO's. Ce programme sera géré par l'organisation hongroise, avec le partenariat de la FEAS.
Pour participer ou pour coopérer à ces programmes, faites-nous part dès maintenant de votre intérêt en nous renvoyant un message e-mail, cela nous permettra de vous associer directement.
D'autre part, nous avons le plaisir de vous informer que le Gouvernement belge a conféré à la FEAS le statut d'association internationale reconnue par Arrêté Royal du 1.2.2000. Ainsi l'organisation légale de la FEAS est maintenant complète, avec un statut adéquat, une clarté des procédures, et des organes élus (conseil d'administration, bureau exécutif, président, secrétaire général). Tout ce dont nous avons besoin pour faire de la FEAS la fédération large et ouverte, réunissant l'actionnariat salarié, les entreprises, les syndicats, les experts, les chercheurs, toutes les personnes enfin, qui prennent part à la promotion de l'actionnariat salarié et de la participation en Europe.
